Glenn Mintzer - Founder/Director, President

Glenn Mintzer has dedicated more than thirty years to protecting the rights of consumers and injured individuals through his extensive legal career and passion for advocacy. A seasoned litigator, Glenn has worked tirelessly to hold powerful industries accountable, often representing clients in high-profile cases. His unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and championing consumer rights has defined his approach to creating meaningful change throughout his career.

Over the last year, Glenn has focused his expertise on the real estate sector, where his research into agent compensation practices and negotiation strategies uncovered significant opportunities for consumer savings. Together with co-founder and longtime friend Brian Brown, Glenn brings a shared vision of empowering consumers through education and advocacy. At Negotiate the Comp, Glenn leverages his background to develop tools and resources that empower homeowners and homebuyers to navigate real estate transactions with confidence. At Mintzer Legal he provides the legal support needed to help act on those insights. Beyond his legal career, Glenn’s dedication to endurance is reflected in his personal pursuits. An avid cyclist, he once participated in a grueling cross-country cycling event, covering 3,000 miles. Glenn has also completed marathons, triathlons and an ultra-marathon and other endurance challenges, demonstrating the same determination and commitment that defines his approach to advocating for his clients. Glenn is licensed to practice law in Florida, Maryland, and Louisiana. As the founder of Mintzer Legal, located in New Orleans he continues to blend his legal expertise with a deep commitment to consumer empowerment, ensuring clients have access to trusted advocacy and expert guidance.

Brian Brown - Founder/Director, Secretary/Treasurer

Brian Brown discovered his dual passions for consumer protection and real estate in the late 1990s. While practicing law at one of the nation’s largest consumer protection firms with Glenn Mintzer, Brian participated in litigation teams that challenged powerful industries, for the harm caused to consumers. Brian and Glenn have known each other since the early years of their legal careers, building a friendship rooted in their shared dedication to empowering consumers and advocating for fairness.

On the real estate side, Brian purchased and renovated his first home in Baltimore, Maryland, during the late 1990s. This sparked a decades-long love for real estate, particularly in buying, rehabbing, and selling homes. The recent rule changes have given Brian an opportunity to realize his desire to empower consumers and level the playing field with real estate professionals. As co-founder of Negotiate the Comp, Brian combines his legal expertise and passion for real estate to help homeowners and homebuyers achieve better outcomes. Outside of work, Brian enjoys cycling, skiing, and surfing, as well as exploring the world with his family. Brian is a member of both the Florida Bar and the Maryland Bar.

William “Billy” Yerman is a distinguished business leader with over thirty years of experience as a founder and CEO across the real estate brokerage, title, and legal sectors. Following an influential career leading multiple successful enterprises, he now leverages his expertise in his latest endeavor as CEO for Negotiate the Comp. Yerman specializes in strategic planning, organization and corporate expansion – essential skills he brings to NtC. His comprehensive understanding of real estate brokerage, title services, and legal frameworks provides NtC with uniquely valuable perspectives and leadership.
